Main Duties/Responsibilities
As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability) with South West London and St George`s MH NHS Trust, you will:
* Provide tailored treatment for families, children, and adolescents in a multidisciplinary setting.
* Assess children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
* Collaborate with other agencies for complex case assessments and treatments.
* Consult with team members and Children's Health Services, including Community Paediatricians.
* Plan and coordinate mental health services for children, adolescents, and families.
* Prepare professional assessments and reports on your cases.
* Participate in medical audits and evaluations.
Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications
* MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
* Full GMC registration with a license to practice at the time of appointment.
* On the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of eligibility.
* Approved clinician status or achievable within 3 months of appointment.
* Approved under S12 or achievable within 3 months.
* Valid UK driving license or evidence of an alternative.
