IRecruit4 are seeking a hardworking and reliable Yard Operatives/Cleaners to join our team at a busy recycling plant. This role is physically demanding, requiring individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in all weather conditions. You will play a vital role in the recycling process, helping to ensure the smooth running of operations on-site. This role is not for the faint-hearted and you will be working with Plastics, Paper and Cardboard.
Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour.
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
1. Sorting and processing recyclable materials efficiently and safely.
2. Loading and unloading dirty materials onto bailers.
3. Maintaining cleanliness and order within the yard.
4. Assisting with general maintenance tasks around the site.
5. Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
6. Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets.
Requirements:
* Physically fit and able to handle manual labour for extended periods.
* Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
* Previous experience in a similar role or environment is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work 10-hour shifts with a positive and proactive attitude.
* Awareness of health and safety procedures (training will be provided).
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
