About the Protection Advisor Role
You’ll be engaging with warm, qualified leads, offering tailored recommendations across life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection and related products.
With a strong referral stream from mortgage advisors and a structured sales process already in place; you’ll be positioned to convert opportunity into high-quality business without the burden of self-generating leads.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored protection advice aligned to clients’ personal and financial circumstances
* Engage with warm leads generated internally, including mortgage client referrals
* Recommend appropriate products across life, critical illness and income protection
* Build trust and educate clients on the importance and value of protection cover
* Manage the full advice process from fact-find through to application and policy completion
* Work collaboratively with mortgage advisors to maximise cross-sale opportunities
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, providers and regulatory requirements
* Deliver consistent, compliant and high-quality customer outcomes
Package
* Basic salary up to £35,000
* Realistic OTE of £60,000 – £80,000+ with uncapped commission
* High-quality, warm leads provided – no cold calling or self-generation required
* Strong internal referral system from mortgage advisors
* Full administrative and operational support
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Protection Advisor
* Proven track record of converting protection opportunities
* Solid knowledge of life, critical illness and income protection products
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A consultative, client-first approach to sales and advice
* Comfortable working with targets in a quality-led environment
* Organised, self-motivated and driven to maximise earnings potential
