As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior, you’ll be involved in a balanced mix of accounts preparation and audit assignments. You’ll work closely with seniors, managers and partners, supporting clients across different sectors and gaining the kind of hands-on experience that helps you progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Assisting with audit planning, fieldwork and completion
Preparing audit working papers and supporting documentation
Liaising with clients to request information and resolve queries
Supporting on-site audit assignments where required
Preparing draft corporation tax computations with guidance
Ensuring work is completed in line with UK accounting and audit standards
Helping junior team members as your role develops
What We’re Looking For
You’ll ideally have:
At least 2 years’ experience within an accountancy practice
Experience across accounts preparation and audit assignments
ACA or ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
A good understanding of UK accounting standards and audit processes
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Confidence communicating with clients and colleagues
A proactive attitude and a genuine interest in progressing your career
