Spire Hull and East Riding are now recruiting a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join their warm and friendly Outpatient Team on a flexible working basis.

Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital is based in Anlaby, near Humber Bridge and the hospital provides care for patients across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. Our hospital offers a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, general surgery, weight loss surgery, eye surgery and cosmetic surgery. Other services include radiology - MRI and CT and physiotherapy. Duties and responsibilities:
1. In this fast-paced role, you will be required to assist our Clinical team in providing exemplary Care within the Outpatients department, whilst providing Healthcare Assistance to our Nursing team.
2. As a HCA, duties will include routine tasks related to the delivery of care to ensure our patient’s health and well-being.
3. You will move and set up diagnostic equipment (after training) and other resources, as well as applying technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
Who we're looking for:
4. Previous experience working within a clinical setting (hospital/GP surgery) is essential.
5. Experience in Phlebotomy and Wound care is highly desirable.
6. As a HCA, you will be fundamental in providing Healthcare Support to our Clinical Team to ensure patients receive the best possible personal care.
7. System literacy is essential; MS Office and SAP is desirable, however, not essential for the right candidate.
8. Must be accurate and have a strong desire for attention to detail.
