Role Overview
Specialty Training Programme Director – Neurology, School of Medicine. Lead delivery of functions aligned to the NHS England mandate and long-term workforce plan. Focus on improving learner supervision, assessment, faculty engagement, and educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Improve supervision, assessment, and learning experience for trainees.
* Engage faculty, ensuring effective educational outcomes.
* Collaborate with the Head of School for Medicine to align activities with NHS England mandate and workforce plan.
Requirements
* Experienced clinician with deep understanding of education and training in neurology.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a multi‑professional team.
Employment Details
The role is a part‑time secondment to NHS England linked to an existing NHS Trust position in the South West. Appointed until 31 March 2027. Applicants from within the NHS require employer agreement prior to application.
