On behalf of PwC, we are looking for an Integration Engineer to work on a 6 Month contract based in Rochester (Flexible). Join us as an Integration Engineer: The Integration Engineer is responsible for owning the end-to-end integration lifecycle, translating business and technical requirements into reliable, production-ready interface solutions across enterprise systems. The role focuses on delivering and optimising integration services using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC/OICS) and related technologies, ensuring solutions are secure, performant, resilient, and aligned with architectural standards. The Integration Engineer also supports service stability by embedding observability, error handling, and recoverability into integrations, while contributing to structured testing, controlled deployments, and post go-live support. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the definition of integration requirements and functional specifications. Produce clear technical specifications and interface design documentation. Align integrations to enterprise architecture and canonical data models. Develop and configure integrations between source systems and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC/OICS). Configure and manage adapters for Oracle and non-Oracle systems. Implement mappings, transformations, and lookups. Implement structured error handling, retries, idempotency, logging, and alerting. Ensure integrations are secure, auditable, and support operational monitoring. Embed resilience and recoverability into integration solutions. Perform unit testing of integrations and support SIT, end-to-end testing, and UAT. Package and promote integration artefacts across environments. Support controlled release and production deployment activities. Troubleshoot incidents and manage reprocessing activities in line with defined runbooks. Key Accountabilities, Skills & Experience: Experience delivering enterprise system integrations. Knowledge of Oracle ERP (11i, R12, Fusion) and/or Oracle EPM environments. Experience with ETL tools, data integrity strategies, and previous data migration activities. Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API-based architectures. Technical Skills Strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Solid understanding of Oracle ERP database architecture and/or Oracle Cloud environments (EPM / Fusion). Experience with joins, subqueries, analytic functions, and performance tuning. Knowledge of ETL techniques and integration methodologies. Experience using PowerShell or other scripting/automation tools. Experience working with FBDI templates (desirable).
