With your background, know what youre doing. You dont need (or want) your manager sat next to you, pre-approving every decision you make, youll be ourgo-to expert for the diagnosis and resolution of complex building faults with a focus on damp and mould in accordance with Awaabs law.
As well as your technical expertise, a major key to your success will be your communication skills. You know its not always what you tell a customer, but how.
Youre also a real team player wholl build great working relationships with the ability to confidently challenge when needed.
Youll need that full UK driving licence of yours and willingness to travel as youll be visiting our customers homes in the course of your work, taking pride in a job well done, knowing that youve made a real difference to our customers.
A few key points from our role profile:
* Independently manage a varied caseload including damp and mould, insurance works, disrepair claims, and more significant or specialist repairs.
* Lead on the accurate diagnosis of building issues, applying your strong knowledge of damp and mould, HHSRS, and building construction to identify and resolve root cause issues.
* Provide technical guidance and post-inspection support to colleagues and contractors, ensuring quality and consistency across all property works.
* Using data driven methodology identify properties across the portfolio which are at potential risk and may need remedial works to be completed.
* Manage the delivery of resolution works and contribute to continual service improvement through innovation and professional insight.
* Produce clear, detailed technical reports, witness statements and evidence for all activities undertaken within the customers home whilst remediating the hazard and related issues.
* Ensure that the housing stock remains safe, compliant, and habitable, while placing customer needs and wellbeing at the forefront of resolution.
