Overview
We are currently looking for a Director of Marketing to join a leading software and services company to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing the overall marketing strategy, branding, and marketing communications to support the company's ambitious growth plans. You will lead a team of multi-disciplinary marketing professionals, setting budgets, conducting market research, and analysing campaign performance to drive business growth and increase market share. You will work closely with the executive team and board in articulating the company vision, mission, and brand.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver the strategic marketing plan in collaboration with the board and executive team to support business growth goals.
* Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, timeliness, and budget compliance.
* Track and analyse campaign performance using KPIs to measure effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
* Lead and manage the marketing team, providing coaching, support, and development opportunities.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Director of Marketing we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
* Relevant degree in a scientific field, with a marketing qualification being desirable.
* Significant experience in senior global marketing roles within software and services organisations, particularly in the pharma/biotech/life sciences sectors.
* Proven track record of delivering on corporate communications strategy at a senior level, including PR and analyst relations.
* A working knowledge and practical experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.
