Street Services is seeking a Business Support Officer (Technology, Digital and Communication) to join its busy Business Support Team.
Street Services has 446 members of staff, and the Business Support Team is responsible for providing a wide range of functions that assist delivery of statutory frontline waste collection and street cleansing services.
Under the supervision of the Senior Business Support Officer (Technology, Digital and Communication) the successful candidate will:
* Assist with distributing service wide digital communication within Street Services
* Support data cleansing and data auditing
* Maintain the departments IT asset register and user log
* Be a point of contact for IT equipment requests and repairs
* Support the Street Services induction and training programme by ensuring training handouts/materials are up to date with system/IT development
* Coordinate the creation of the Street Services digital newsletter
You will have exceptional IT and communication skills with an interested in digital transformation with a good grasp of modern technology platforms and services, coupled with a passion for digital innovation and driving change.
You will also be a good team player who is flexible and willing to adapt the changing needs of the service.
