Broster Buchanan are partnering with a Trafford based retailer to recruit a strategic and experienced Head of Finance within supply chain. This is a high-impact role where you will lead financial planning and analysis across the supply chain, drive cost optimisation, and support operational decision-making at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the finance function for supply chain operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls.
* Provide strategic financial insights to optimise inventory management, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
* Partner with supply chain and operations leadership to evaluate financial implications of initiatives and investments.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
* Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.
* Present actionable financial recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified background ACCA/CIMA/ACA
* Experience in large scale operational finance, with significant exposure to supply chain operations
* Strong understanding of supply chain operations, cost structures, and logistics.
* Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to drive actionable insights.
