What will this role involve?
As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the store management team, driving turnover and revenues from the store based on lean principles. You will maintain a strong focus on customer service and act as an ambassador of the Ryman brand.
What will you be responsible for?
* Act as an ambassador for Ryman and the Theo Paphitis Retail Group by learning about the business and your role, and sharing this knowledge with customers
* Confidently handle customer complaints and returns to ensure customer retention
* Aim to meet or exceed KPIs and objectives set by Store Management Team and the business
* Engage with customers, identify needs, help them purchase by applying product knowledge, highlighting relevant promotions and upselling
* Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems when required
* Promote high visual merchandising standards and maintain store housekeeping
* Acquire product knowledge and continue to self-develop
* Identify opportunities to increase sales by offering appropriate additional items
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies
