Purchase Ledger Clerk, Leicester
Showsec has a fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to play a key role in our Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our accounts payable function and for maintaining a reliable and efficient purchase ledger system.

What you will be doing
1. Process invoices and credit notes.
2. Preparation of supplier payments runs and dealing with payment requests.
3. Maintaining supplier account records.
4. Ensure invoices coded and inputted correctly.
5. Assist with queries from supplier.
6. Process expenses and credit card expenses.
7. Electronic filing of all paperwork.
8. Reconciliation of supplier statements to the accounts system.
9. Checking bank account and company information for any new payees.
10. Month end tasks.
11. Perform ad hoc administrative work for the accounts department.

What we need from you
18. Right to Work in the UK**
19. Maths GCSE or equivalent (C or above)**
20. English GCSE or equivalent (C or above)**
21. Competent understanding of Microsoft Platforms; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Email
22. Proficient in written and oral communication skills
23. Ability to work to a tight deadline within a fast-paced environment.
