Assistant Planner A regional house builder have a requirement for an Assistant Planner to join their team working across housing developments across the North West region. As an Assistant Planner you will be responsible for for assisting the Planning Manager with the accurate delivery of planning and programming of multiple housing developments. Key accountabilities: Assisting with programming for tender submissions and other construction phases, specifically in relation to the 'form of contract' requirements Producing preconstruction, contract and target programmes of work Visiting sites and monitor and review progress for both contract & target programmes; Liaising with production management teams for programming / general reportage information Liaising with the project team members to produce short term programmes of work Producing progress reports for senior management Analyse and evaluate construction methods, techniques and logistics required for tenders Recording key elements from site team logs to provide base line information for future records Facilitating details for internal and external KPI recording Skills & experience required: Previous experience in a similar role overseeing multiple residential developments Experience using Asta Project planning software Degree or HNC in Construction Analytical and methodical approach to work Ability to work independently during site visits & reporting Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times The company are offering a completive basic salary (dependant on experience), car allowance and additional benefits including company pension, company bonus scheme, life assurance annual leave bank holidays.
