Head of Leisure Operations
6‑month contract
Day rate: £700 per day
(inside IR35 via umbrella)
4–5 days per week on site
North West England – Hybrid working

You’ll lead multi‑site operational teams, oversee significant budgets, and play a pivotal part in strengthening community wellbeing through high‑impact sport and physical activity programmes. Your Role as Interim Head of Leisure Operations:
* Strategic leadership across leisure operations and physical activity services
* Operational oversight of leisure centres, pools and sports facilities
* Compliance ownership including health & safety and safeguarding
* Commercial performance – driving income, utilisation and efficiency
* Leadership & culture – developing teams and leading service improvement
Your Experience as Interim Head of Leisure Operations:
* Senior leadership across leisure operations or complex frontline services
* Experience managing multi‑site leisure estates
* Strong financial and commercial acumen
* Demonstrable success leading large operational teams
* Track record delivering service improvement or transformation
