The role:
* The successful Account Manager will be responsible for P&L, stock forecasting, and planning range assortment for new and existing accounts across retail and distributors.
* Reporting to the National Account Controller, the Account Manager will develop strategies to grow sales and profitability of accounts.
* You will maintain regular contact with accounts to ensure sell-out is achieved and progress aligns with forecasts.
* The role involves working cross-functionally with the stock team to ensure sufficient stock is provided and available. Additionally, developing strategies to sell out slow-moving or obsolete lines is essential.
* Ideal candidates will have experience as a national account executive or buyer within non-food sectors, preferably within cookware, dine, or SDA, gained from the UK retail sector.
* Commercial experience and understanding of tracking against forecasts and managing P&L are essential.
* Confidence and competence in negotiating and agreeing on commercial agreements are required.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders are vital.
* Self-starters capable of managing end-to-end processes and ensuring business targets are met will thrive in this role.
* Success in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment is important.
