As part of our Interior Solutions division, you'll contribute to innovative products that shape safer, more sustainable spaces for millions of people.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe're looking for a Fire Scientist to join our Central Production Development team and become the go-to expert for fire performance across our product range of plaster, plasterboard and insulation.\n\nWhat you'll do\n\nAct as a fire performance specialist for our products.\nConduct small scale fire testing on our products and analyse results to drive improvements.\nAnalyse full scale fire performance providing suitable improvement recommendations\nDesign and develop laboratory test methods that can be scaled to plant operations.\nIntroduce and evaluate new additives to enhance fire performance.\nProduce technical reports\nSupport teams in problem solving product performance issues relating to system fire performance\nCollaborate with internal teams and support the implementation of new test methods.What we're looking for\n\nDegree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.\nExperience in fire testing, fire performance, or fire-related R&D.\nStrong technical report writing and data analysis skills.\nComfortable working in a laboratory environment.\nAbility to develop and implement new test methods.\nKnowledge of relevant standards and experimental design principles.What we offer\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nOpportunities for professional development and career growth.\nA supportive environment focused on safety, sustainability, and innovation.Why join us?\n\nYou'll be part of a collaborative team of 18, working closely with 7 central scientists and reporting to the Process & Performance Lead.
