Our supportive and values-driven national public sector client are seeking a Project Support Officer to play a key role in coordinating projects, supporting events and ensuring the smooth delivery of initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality administrative and project support across a range of improvement and development projects.
* Coordinate meetings and events — from scheduling and preparing agendas to taking minutes and tracking actions.
* Maintain effective systems and databases, and support project planning and reporting.
* Collate and analyse information to help shape recommendations and future priorities.
* Assist with creating and reviewing resources, ensuring accuracy, branding, and accessibility.
* Use your strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams) to support delivery and collaboration.
* Work confidently in both Welsh and English, providing excellent service in both languages.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience providing project or administrative support in a busy environment.
* Excellent organisational, written, and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Commitment to public sector values and continuous improvement.
Bilingual skills:
* Listening & Speaking: Able to carry out all spoken aspects of the role in Welsh and English.
* Reading & Understanding: Able to interpret information in both languages.
This is a temporary, 35 hour per week assignment offered on a hybrid basis for 6-12 month paying up to £16.42 per hour.
