Role Overview
As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team committed to helping our customers. Your responsibilities include leading the store team—coaching and supervising Customer Team Members, deputising for the Store Manager, delivering excellent customer service, and performing various store tasks such as re-stocking and cleaning.
What You’ll Do
1. Provide friendly, welcoming, and helpful service, managing challenging situations effectively.
2. Develop your team’s skills through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s voice is valued.
3. Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational.
4. Maintain stock accuracy and conduct diligence checks to enhance the shopping experience.
5. Support the Store Manager by deputising and handling HR processes.
6. Lead the introduction of new products and services, encouraging team feedback.
7. Engage with the local community and support the delivery of the Co-op community plan.
