 
        Overview We are looking for a supportive partner on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity. Our Network Operational Manager will nurture our our network and supplier relationships to ensure consistent service across people, cost, and quality. To build strong relationships, both with internal and external customers, suppliers, claims partners and industry within the wider market and industry forums, to gain insights and share best practice, and make recommendations to the business which will ensure that Aviva has market advantage. The Role: Our Network Operations Manager will have an overarching view of repair in the region to enable market leading customer outcomes and cost management. They will identify and remove blockages in our relationships which prevent the operational function from performing to its maximum. They analyse business data and develop initiatives that will increase company and network partners performance and productivity. They are instrumental in ensuring that Aviva's reputation is protected by providing technical information and recommendations, backed by data, and offering collaborative, proactive support across the motor system in support of wider Aviva repair cost strategies. Responsibilities To ensure that any changes in technical standards or repair methodologies are communicated and implemented across our suppliers and are supported by risk and governance controls. Generates ideas about future repair initiatives whilst maintaining up to date knowledge of the marketplace to enable a supportive network relationship. Embody the technical direction given to the claims centre, repairers and Solus on repair and claim issues, and ensure they are understood, implemented and are in line with the operation principles. Influence network capacity, demonstrating understanding of the demographic of demand, and ability to match capacity through technical expertise. Demonstrate influence within the wider market by promoting Solus and Aviva, both internally and externally with key stakeholders, Thatcham, Vehicle manufacturers etc. Demonstrate that parties are working towards common goals. Internally and externally in the network. Demonstration that colleague issues/concerns are dealt with in line with company guidelines. Demonstrate compliance with legal, compliance and regulatory requirements across Solus and Aviva. Qualifications Relationship building skills Excellent knowledge of general insurance principles and practices Leadership experience in the automotive industry or networks Must be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against a business strategy Financial Acumen Proven leadership and relationship skills Influence network partners and drive change effectively, challenging the requirements for continuous improvement Who are Solus and what can they do for you?
