Known for their exacting standards, commercial integrity and collaborative approach, they are now seeking a driven and commercially aware Construction Operations Manager to support the founder and help oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects across the region. This is a hands-on, varied role that will suit a well-rounded individual with either a white-collar background (e.g. contracts, QS, project management) or someone with strong site-based experience now ready to transition into a more strategic, operational role. Key Responsibilities: Act as the right-hand to the business owner, supporting the day-to-day running of the companys construction operations Oversee and coordinate project progress, site activity, and contractor performance across multiple live residential developments Support contract and subcontract administration, ensuring compliance and risk management Assist with budgeting, cost planning, and tracking project financials Liaise with clients, suppliers, consultants, and site teams to ensure high-quality project delivery Contribute to procurement, value engineering, and improving internal systems and project controls Play an active role in business development, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives What Were Looking For: A self-starter with a strong understanding of residential construction and project delivery Prior experience in site management, contracts administration, project coordination, or similar Commercially minded with a proactive, problem-solving approach Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small, committed team Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the South East Desirable (but not essential): Experience with JCT contracts and residential building regulations Familiarity with construction software and project cost reporting tools This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, growing company at an exciting time.
