You will be part of the Sheet Metal unit of production's supply chain team, which consists of 13 members dedicated to ensuring timely deliveries of the right quantity, cost, and quality to internal customers.
The sheet metal production unit is multi-program (A320 Neo, Pearl 700, etc.) and includes over twenty work centers.
Your role will mainly focus on supply chain activities related to external scheduling and continuous improvement. You will support the external scheduler and line manager in supplying sheet metal items (portfolio of 900 P/N from a dozen suppliers) and subcontractors for part treatment. You will participate in daily meetings, report on performance and root causes, and conduct data analysis to aid management decision-making. Additionally, you will support 5S activities on the shop floor related to inventory management for items shipped to subcontractors.
You will also assist the Supply Chain Manager with the One Safran maturity audits and related actions to achieve MRP II Class A Standards.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Supply Chain / Operations Management or Supply Chain Option
* Industry experience (apprenticeship or internship)
* Good understanding of MRP2 principles
* Basic knowledge of business economics
* Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of SAP is a plus
