What to Expect in This SEN TA Role: Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN. Assist with classroom activities and adapt tasks to meet individual needs. Support students with focus, engagement, and emotional regulation. Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to follow personalised learning plans. Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment. Requirements for This SEN Teaching Assistant Role: Previous experience supporting children with SEN is desirable. Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, reliable, and adaptable attitude. Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding. An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
