About The Role

In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our dementia, nursing, residential, and specialist care homes. As an Activities Co-ordinator, you will plan and implement activities that delight our residents. You will also assist the Home Manager in organising fundraising events. Whether you’re encouraging residents to socialise more effectively, developing new activities based on their hobbies, or involving the care team, your approach will be rooted in kindness.

We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably with developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, and excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You will manage your time effectively and communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues will receive safeguarding training relevant to their role and additional training as needed. You should also be proactive in seeking advice and reporting concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
