We are looking for a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at the Business Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations and staff
* Prepare and cook food to a high standard
* Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to the established recipes and standards
* Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Monitor and control food waste
* Assist with menu planning and development
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
* Excellent knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
* Ability to lead and manage a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and creativity
* Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
