Product Development Engineer -
Our client is amanufacturing business that suppliesproducts to someof the UK's largest infrasturcture projects.
Due to exapnsion, our client is looking to recruit a Lead Product & PackagingDevelopment Engineer.
As a Lead Product Engineer you'll be delivering new product designs and product improvements that meet customer, business, and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead or contribute to major product development projects and multiple smaller initiatives.
2. Deliver product designs through concept, design, prototyping, testing, and pre-production stages using stage-gate principles.
3. Carry out risk assessments, DFMEA/PFMEA, design reviews, and verification testing.
4. Ensure designs are process-capable, repeatable, and compliant with industry and customer requirements.
5. Support packaging development, including materials selection, specifications, supplier engagement, and testing.
