The Role
We are seeking a full-time Arboricultural Estimator/ Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Company Directors.
This role will involve liaising with both domestic, council and commercial clients, providing quotations, and planning works for our busy arboricultural teams.
It would particularly suit somene looking to step up into a senior, management-level position within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Client liaison and relationship management
* Use of Arb Pro (training will be given)
* Preparing estimates and fixed-price quotations
* Providing accurate arboricultural advice to clients and staff
* Organising and scheduling work for multiple teams
* Writing risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
* Overseeing fleet and plant management in collaboration with the in-house mechanic
* Supporting business development and growth opportunities
* Managing arboricultural teams effectively
* Supporting training, including toolbox talks
* Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Arboriculture or related field (significant industry experience considered)
* Minimum of 5 years' industry experience
* NPTC qualified
* Strong tree identification and hazard assessment knowledge
* Understanding of TPOs and conservation area regulations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong customer engagement and client care abilities
* Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
* Full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel
Desirable:
* Experience managing multiple tree work teams
* First Aid at Work or First Aid +F qualification
* CSCS card holder
* PA1 & PA6 certifications
* Experience in planning and delivering specialist tree work operations
* Tree survey and inspection experience
