I’m currently working with one of the most respected insurance brokers in the Lloyd’s market who are looking to hire a Senior Sanctions Analyst into their growing Financial Crime team.
This is a genuinely interesting opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond BAU screening into more complex, technical sanctions work, particularly across marine and specialty risks. You’ll be working closely with senior compliance stakeholders, legal teams and underwriting functions on some of the more complex sanctions scenarios seen in the London Market.
Why this role stands out:
• High-profile Lloyd’s market broker with strong reputation
• Exposure to complex global sanctions matters (UK/EU/OFAC/UN)
• Senior level technical role (not a junior BAU position)
• Opportunity to support and mentor junior team members
• Excellent benefits (up to 15% pension + bonus)
• Hybrid working (2–3 days in London office)
What they’re looking for:
• Proven sanctions experience within insurance
• Lloyd’s or London Market exposure is highly desirable
• Strong technical knowledge of global sanctions regimes
• Experience handling investigations and complex referrals
• Someone commercially minded who can partner with the business
This would suit Senior Analyst/ Financial Crime Officer level looking for a more technical role with better exposure and progression.
