We have a great opportunity for an assistant to join the Company Secretarial team in the Solent office. This is an opportunity to work closely with our Accountancy, Tax and Consultancy Teams across all 11 offices, Our Company Secretarial staff provide support to clients, covering all areas of Company Secretarial practice including incorporating companies, preparing statutory forms and maintaining statutory books. The job holder will work as part of a small Company Secretarial team, providing support to over 2,500 companies, covering all areas of Company Secretarial practice. Key Responsibilities Updating CoSec data base management system Preparation and filing of Confirmation Statements Good understanding of People with Significant Control Production of minutes approving dividend and vouchers Preparation and filing of Companies House forms Maintenance of company’s statutory records Skills, Knowledge and Expertise The Person Able to build and sustain positive internal working relationships Demonstrates an organised approach to work and meeting deadlines Communicates effectively and professionally in person and in writing Shares knowledge and best practice ideas with peers and team members, as appropriate Builds a reputation for consistent, effective administration practices Keeps accurate record of own time to contribute to budget management Acts independently, where appropriate Shows willingness and aptitude to learn and develop new skills Required Skills & Knowledge Strong administrational skills Excellent communicator, both verbal and written Ability to take accountability, handle pressure and changing priorities Real passion for a career in CoSec field Intermediate MS Office skills including Word and Excel and CoSec Database Management Working knowledge of “Diligent Entities” is an advantage but not essential No qualifications are required but ICSA is an advantage Required Work Experience Office experience, ideally within a professional services organisation Previous experience in Company Secretarial Administration is advantageous though not essential as training will be provided Travel Requirements Travel will be required occasionally, mainly to visit the office that they are allocated to look after, and meeting for department quarterly meetings Benefits Why Join Us?
