This vacancy is on the Week 2 Night shift, which starts at 18.00pm and finishes at 6.00am and will receive a 25% premium for the hours worked between 10pm and 6am.

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
* Collaborating closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure that the correct equipment / trailers are positioned on and off the trailer bays
* Conduct a pre-load check before positioning a trailer on a bay. Including Defects and equipment accurately prepared for loading
* Work in partnership with the Transport admin teams to ensure that we meet carrier requirements minimising missed promise orders
* Ensure Health & Safety standards are always considered, and Manual Handling guidelines are followed
* Always Operate within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and Risk Assessment requirements
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
* Hold a Class 1 (C&E) License and previous experience of driving HGV vehicles
* Strong proficiency in reading and writing in English language, with the ability to comprehend and adhere to instructions and safety rules
* Basic computer and handheld device experience with the ability to count accurately and to perform simple mathematical calculations
* Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations. Ability to lift up to 17.5 kg required
* Have appropriate hand, eye and foot co-ordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment
