Join the ROD Graduate Programme 2026 in Leeds, UK. Roughan & O'Donovan, a leading civil, environmental and structural engineering consultancy, offers a multidisciplinary graduate pathway across bridges, transportation, buildings, environmental, geotechnical and water projects.
Responsibilities
* Support project engineers and project technicians on assigned projects, fulfilling the project brief efficiently, safely and in a controlled manner.
* Assist the project engineer in design, reporting, contract documentation, checking and contract implementation activities.
* Support senior engineering and administration personnel in their day‑to‑day activities.
* Attend site and supervise and monitor site activities where appropriate.
* Promote adherence to ROD systems and standards.
Qualifications
* First class or 2:1 Master’s degree or equivalent in civil engineering or similar discipline, expected to complete by 2025.
* Degree accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (UK) and meeting the requirement for Chartered Engineer (CEng) or satisfying the CEng Academic Assessment with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
* Strong analytical, teamwork, communication and problem‑solving skills with a good work ethic.
* Fluency/high level proficiency in spoken and written English.
* Project experience in the industry is an advantage.
