The Governing Body of The Rofft School is seeking to appoint an exceptional, forward-thinking Headteacher to lead our vibrant and inclusive school community into its next chapter.

The Role

As Headteacher, you will provide outstanding strategic leadership and management, working in partnership with governors, staff, families and the wider community to:

1. Articulate and deliver a compelling vision aligned with the Curriculum for Wales
2. Raise standards and aspirations for all learners
3. Lead exceptional teaching and learning, ensuring high-quality pedagogy across the school
4. Champion inclusion and wellbeing, creating a culture where every child and adult flourishes
5. Drive sustainable school improvement, using evidence-informed strategies
6. Develop staff and future leaders, nurturing a culture of collaboration and professional growth
7. Strengthen community partnerships, ensuring the school remains at the heart of its community

You will be a visible, inspirational presence who leads with integrity, clarity and purpose—motivating others to achieve excellence together.

8. Has proven senior leadership experience with a strong track record of raising standards
9. Demonstrates strategic vision, resilience and the ability to deliver sustained improvement
10. Is an outstanding practitioner with deep understanding of effective teaching and learning
11. Has a strong grasp of Curriculum for Wales, assessment and school improvement
12. Is passionate about inclusion, equity and pupil wellbeing
13. Can inspire, develop and empower staff teams
14. Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, governors and partners
15. Leads with integrity, innovation and a relentless focus on excellence
