Our client, a prestigious institution in London, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Student Data and Management Information Officer to enhance student data quality and support effective data management.\n\nPosition Details:\n\nContract Type: Permanent\n\nWorking Pattern: Full Time\n\nHours: 35 hours per week\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nData Analysis & Reporting:\n\nSupport the production and submission of statutory student data returns to external agencies such as HESA and OfS.\nCreate and maintain reports and documents for internal committees and boards.\nChampion student data quality by ensuring compliance with statutory standards.\nGenerating Improvement:\nutilise your expertise to identify issues and areas for process improvement.\nPromote best practises in data accuracy and business processes.\nCustomer/Service Support:\nHandle queries and provide timely support, ensuring a customer-focused approach.\nProactively resolve issues to minimise service disruptions.\nPlanning & Organisation:\nTake charge of your specific area, setting long-term objectives and making informed decisions.\nManage or contribute to projects that align with organisational goals.Communication & Collaboration:\n\nBuild strong relationships within Student and Academic Services, and with external partners.\nRepresent the organisation at external meetings, addressing sector-wide issues.\nStudent Records System (SITS):\nMaintain system base data and processes, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).\nAct as a SITS "Superuser," providing training and developing user documentation.\nOther Systems (CELCAT, SEAtS):\nAssist with annual academic timetable integration and attendance monitoring data.What We're Looking For:\n\nA proactive problem solver with a knack for data management.\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nExperience with data analysis and reporting, ideally in a higher education setting.\nFamiliarity with SITS, CELCAT, or SEAtS is a plus!Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
