Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role will involve managing long-term conditions, wound care, vaccinations, cytology, child immunisations, contraception, and various other clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care and contributing to the success of our practice. Key Responsibilities: * Clinical Care: * Long-term condition management (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Hypertension) * Wound care, including the removal of sutures/clips * Urinalysis, ECGs, Spirometry, and other diagnostic tests * Cervical cytology smear tests and routine health screenings * Administering vaccinations (Routine/Child Immunisations) * Contraception advice and administration * Travel clinic support * Chaperoning and assisting patients as necessary * Collection of swabs, specimens, and blood samples * Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using EMIS (transitioning to SystmOne from January 2026) * Practice Support: * Maintaining and cleaning equipment and treatment rooms * Ordering and managing stock, including vaccinations and medical supplies * General housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized environment * Participating in Practice meetings, clinical audits, and shared learning activities * Collaborating with GPs and other healthcare professionals in mult...
