We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join the Manufacturing Technologies team at a leading aerospace organisation. This role focuses on supporting and deploying advanced automated machinery for the assembly of aircraft wing structures and sub-assemblies.
Deploy and support automated assembly systems including Cartesian machines, CNCs, industrial robots, and cobots
Define requirements for new machinery and develop innovative automated assembly processes
Manage automation projects from concept through to implementation
Provide technical support on machine performance, cutter/drill/router usage, and process improvement
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Strong background in automation and/or robotics
Understanding of aerospace production processes and REACH legislation
