Salary: £110 - £140 per day (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Taunton, which is seeking a dedicated Maths Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible. This long-term role offers a fantastic opportunity for ECTs or graduates looking to build experience before progressing into a full teaching role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared Maths lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting students to stay engaged and on task in the teacher’s absence.
The successful candidate will:
Have a strong understanding of Maths at KS3 and KS4
Be confident managing classroom behaviour and encouraging active participation
Demonstrate clear communication and organisational skills
Be adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic about supporting student learning
Ideally have prior experience working with secondary-age pupils (though not essential)
