We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced children’s nurse to join our CNS team.
The successful candidate will join our team of keyworkers for children and young people with haematology malignancy.
The post holder is responsible for providing a comprehensive and high-quality cancer nursing service to the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive and high‑quality cancer nursing service to children and young people with haematology malignancies.
* Lead and deliver advanced nursing care to patients with cancer, enhancing the patient experience of cancer treatment.
* Ensure continuity of care and influence patient pathways.
* Work collaboratively and autonomously with CYPOONS, POSCUs, Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and other professional boundaries to facilitate the most suitable care and environment for patients and their families.
* Act as a clinical expert, sound educator, committed researcher and proficient leader.
