Please note that teachers of Functional skills usually teach some 16-19 GCSE English Language re-sit provision as part of their allocated deployment. As the Curriculum Improvement Team Leader for Functional Skills English, the successful candidate will ensure planning documentation is completed to a high standard and lead rigorous reviews of quality, ensuring swift interventions where necessary. In addition, they will also be the named Internal Verifier for the qualification and ensure timely completion of assessment samples to maintain our accreditation status.
