Role Responsibilities of the Production Planner:
* Develop and refine production schedules based on demand forecasts, stock levels, and resource availability.
* Collaborate closely with central teams to ensure alignment and seamless workflow across departments.
* Identify production bottlenecks and inefficiencies; implement corrective actions to enhance output and reduce costs.
* Monitor ongoing production activities, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards maintained.
* Address and resolve issues that arise during the manufacturing process promptly.
* Analyse production data to assess performance, detect trends, and generate comprehensive reports for management.
Person Specification for the Production Planner:
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment in a production planning role.
* Solid understanding of production processes, material flow, and inventory management principles.
