Accounts Manager – Creative Division (Music & Entertainment)
A dynamic and people-focused accountancy firm is seeking an experienced and personable Manager to join its Creative Division, working with an exciting portfolio of clients across the music, entertainment, and media sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a practice background to step into a role that combines hands-on client advisory, compliance oversight, and team collaboration. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering commercially focused guidance and acting as a key contact for clients, owners, and external advisors.

The Opportunity:
This role is ideal for a client-facing accountant who enjoys working with creative businesses and owner-managed enterprises. You will take ownership of a varied client base, managing compliance needs while playing a strategic advisory role across a broad spectrum of financial matters.
You’ll collaborate closely with partners and colleagues across the business, contributing to firm-wide initiatives while nurturing junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse portfolio of music and entertainment clients, acting as their trusted advisor
* Lead on all compliance matters including accounts, tax, and deadlines management
* Provide strategic advice in conjunction with Partners and external stakeholders
* Oversee internal budgets, monitor WIP, and ensure efficient job delivery
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and client value-add
* Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
* Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team culture
What You’ll Bring:
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice environment
* Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105
* Proven ability to manage accounts preparation, tax compliance, and client queries end-to-end
* Experience with cloud-based bookkeeping software such as Xero or QuickBooks
* Previous exposure to music, entertainment, or creative industries is highly desirable
* Excellent communication skills and a client-first approach
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing deadlines and budgets
