Overview
East Sussex Pension Fund manages the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) benefits for over 80,000 members and hundreds of employers.
The Senior Pensions, Projects & i‑Connect Administrator manages the Heywood i‑Connect system, supports accurate and timely pension data transfers, and contributes to project and process improvement work within the Pensions Administration Team.
Responsibilities
* Manage the Heywood i‑Connect system and ensure accurate, timely data transfers for employers.
* Review onboarding files and oversee day‑to‑day i‑Connect activities.
* Support employers with monthly submissions and provide regular updates to Pension Team Managers.
* Produce reports and contribute to process reviews, data analysis, and project activities.
* Work within the Systems & Projects Team focused on digital processes, system development and improvements.
Qualifications
* Strong Excel skills and confidence analysing data.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
* Experience in pensions administration or a similar environment.
* Clear and confident communication with employers and internal teams.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with Heywood’s i‑Connect, Altair or similar pension systems.
* Familiarity with monthly or year‑end pay data submission processes in pensions.
* Good knowledge of Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) benefits.
