Role Purpose
To project manage all aspects of all Major Change projects, both internally and customer initiated. Responsible for the development and maintenance of project business processes anddocumentation to comply with project charter. Delivering the project to cost, time and performance and managing customer and stakeholder interfaces.
Non-Recurring Project Manager
This opportunity, based at our Prestwick site offers:

Responsibilities
14. Lead discussions with project owners to ensure scope of project is explicitly defined and documented.
15. Responsible for the development and maintenance of all reporting in line with Business and Customer requirements ensuring compliance with Project Charter & Project Office governance guidelines.
16. Manage to, and ensure compliance with, the Project Management Best Practices.
17. Develop plans, monitor activities, and manage achievement to plan to ensure the project fulfils business needs.
18. Accountable for changes/amendments to schedule, assessing impact and verifying internal related processes MPS, Materialisation etc.
19. Responsible for maintaining programme review structures, internally and externally.
20. Support the development of the Business Case and securing initial project budget.
21. Ensure all Project financial spend is managed in line with the business case and approved budgets.
22. Co-ordination of the Project reviews to ensure all actions are completed and executed in line with project requirements and timescales.
23. Actively supports A320 Non-Recurring Programme Manager to deliver agreed objectives.
24. Enable/Support the development of project management plans and related breakdown structures
25. Responsible for developing and co-ordinating risk management process including risk contingency and mitigation actions. Ensure all risks are captured within the business case.
26. Management of project schedule.
27. Develop and Maintain Communication plans to key stakeholders.
28. Support the Management of the Project Labour & Overhead Budgets in line with forecasted targets.
29. Responsible for issues management and resolution of conflict.
30. Deliver the objectives and benefits outlined in the business case.
31. Manage the PDR Process for agreed team members through effective use of all people processes.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
32. Ideally qualified to or progressing towards APMP Diploma in Project Management
33. Possess highly effective communication skills, be able to accurately and clearly, in verbal and written forms, communicate with all levels of the business, Customers, Suppliers & other external organisations
34. Excellent team working skills are required but, he / she must be self motivated and comfortable working individually
35. Possess the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
36. Excellent budget and financial management
37. Excellent approach and ability to problem solving, using tools and techniques
38. Process minded way of thinking to complement root cause analysis
39. Competent IT skills, to include Microsoft software packages and knowledge and experience of Microsoft Project is essential
40. Experienced in the use of Project Management models and principles (Project Lifecycle, Business Case Analysis, Change Management etc.)
41. Possess all round business awareness from SAP processes, Operational measures to financial reporting models
42. Open minded individual with the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities through business change programmes
Decision Making Authority
43. Makes decisions on a daily basis based around the specific project that ensure cost quality and delivery of the project to the original business case.
44. Would be required to support Strategic decisions at this level.
45. Primary customer interface on schedule matters.
