About Charity Link
At Charity Link, we connect people with causes that change lives. Our fundraisers work across the country engaging the public in powerful, values-led conversations to inspire regular giving for charities that truly make a difference.
We're proud of our people-first culture, and we're committed to creating high-performing teams grounded in empathy, integrity and impact.
About the Role
As a Sales Trainer at Charity Link, your main responsibility is to give new fundraisers the strongest possible start during their first three months. You'll work face-to-face in the field—coaching and developing new starters in real fundraising environments. This includes going home to home in a variety of residential areas for our Door-to-Door teams, as well as working at Private Sites such as small local stores, quieter shopping centres, and garden centres—not just large high-footfall supermarkets.
This isn't classroom-based training; it's practical, hands-on development where it really counts.
This is a field-based role that involves regular travel and working flexibly, including smart hours (e.g. later starts or evenings). You'll lead by example, helping new starters see how adjusting their schedule can lead to better results—and modelling the habits that drive performance. There will also be some weekend working and occasional overnight stays away, depending on business needs, so a flexible and proactive approach to planning your time is key.
In addition to working with new fundraisers, you'll deliver a set number of hopover training sessions each month—stepping in to offer short-term, targeted support where it's most needed. You may also be called upon to coach underperforming fundraisers when agreed with their Team Manager.
You'll also contribute to the wider training experience by delivering webinars, supporting both of our onboarding programmes, and providing consistent reporting and insights to your Team Manager.
