Job Overview
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring manufactured products meet customer specifications and quality standards throughout the production process.
Duties
* First-off, last-off, patrol, and final inspections
* Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections
* Using measuring equipment including verniers, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and shadowgraphs
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Maintaining inspection and calibration records
* Supporting non-conformance investigations and root cause analysis
* Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
* Working closely with production and quality teams to resolve issues
* Assisting with first article inspections and supplier quality activities
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience
* Previous Quality Inspection experience
* Confident using verniers and calipers
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools
* Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement mindset
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Experience working double day shifts is highly desirable
Desirable
* FAIR / PPAP experience
* ISO9001 experience
* Root cause analysis experience
* CMM or optical measuring equipment knowledge
