Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe practices, effective leadership, and high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
* Auditing and overseeing medication administration to ensure compliance with best practice and regulatory standards
* Maintaining and updating PCS (care planning system) accurately and in a timely manner
* Participating in the on-call rota and providing managerial support when required
* Supporting the recruitment process, including assisting with interviews and onboarding of new staff
* Acting as a role model for care staff and promoting high standards of care delivery
On-Call Responsibilities
All Senior Care Assistants are required to be on call on the days they work. On-call duties include responding to staff queries and arranging or providing shift cover when required.
Working Hours
Week 1
8 till 2. Working a 2,2,3 rota.
week 1
2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on.
week 2
2 days off, 2 days, on 3 days off.
Every other weekend off
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
