The Division is seeking to appoint a research and teaching academic in health economics (1.0 FTE) with expertise in designing and applying economic methods for evaluating health and social care interventions.
You will primarily be based in the Manchester Centre for Health Economics, contributing to teaching, research supervision, and academic support on modules related to the economics of health, MSc in Economics. Additional contributions to other programmes, such as MSc in Economics and MBChB Medicine, are encouraged.
The role involves developing and leading a research programme focused on econometric/modelling methods and the use of routinely collected and trial data.
The successful candidate will work with diverse research teams, including health economists, clinicians, scientists, biostatisticians, informaticians, implementation scientists, service users, and commissioners.
