FX & Money Markets (MM) Dealer - BankingLondon (hybrid model, 2 days per week)Working in a small team you will be responsible for assisting in the pricing of foreign exchange deals for clients and for taking responsibility for the short term asset and liability and liquidity management of various branches across the UK and NA. Key duties and responsibilities:- Manage the short term liquidity of the banking entities.- Assist in formulating and implementing a trading strategy for GBP, USD, and EUR money books.- Execute interest rate trading for the bank’s balance sheet.- Responsible for managing the Treasury Fixed Income portfolio (c. £300m).- Provide cover for senior members on both the MM and FX desk.- Price and execute client orders using various trading platforms, e.g., Bloomberg, Murex.- Monitor and adhere to external and internal regulatory limits & stay informed about market best practices and regulatory updates.- Resolve client queries in a professional, timely, and efficient manner, liaising with internal departments where appropriate.- Prepare and distribute daily/weekly/monthly management reports.- Assist in the annual budgeting process, updating P&L spreadsheets and tracking actuals against budget figures.- Maintain awareness of risks associated with department processes and controls, being proactive in identifying additional risks or controls for Treasury processes.Experience, skills and knowledge:- Experience within financial services, with a broad understanding of the treasury function.- Basic understanding of Treasury instruments.- Knowledge of and exposure to the MENA region would be advantageous.- Solid numerical and literacy skills.- IT competency including trading and communication tools such as Bloomberg and Murex.- High proficiency in Excel for spreadsheet manipulation.- Highly numeric with an analytical approach to problem-solving.- Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritize work accordingly.- Strong team player.- Possesses a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.- Committed and motivated to perform at the highest level consistently.Apply below, or via Harry.Miller@Bruinfinancial.com
