THE JOB
* Project Planning and Scheduling: Assist in the creation of project plans, timelines, and budgets. Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on project objectives.
* Resource Coordination: Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.Ensure resources are efficiently utilised throughout the project lifecycle.
* Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, team members, and external vendors. Maintain effective and timely communication to ensure smooth project execution.
* Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and change logs. Ensure all project records are accurate and up to date.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project delivery and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and align with client expectations.
* Problem Solving: Address project-related issues promptly and effectively, escalating concerns as necessary to senior management.
* Budget Monitoring: Track and report on project expenses, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
* Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.
* Ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED
Essential
* Proven experience in a project coordination or similar role, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for various audiences.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
* Ability to build positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Desirable
* Education: A degree or equivalent qualification within Business, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Certification in Project Management, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
* Experience in Agriculture.
* Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
