Nutritional Assistant
Job overview
Ward 7 is a general elective/emergency surgical ward. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our amazing team.
We cover multiple specialities from ENT, Max fax, gynaecology, urology, general surgery, upper GI, Breast and endocrine.
Main duties of the job
To provide hydration and nutritional support on the ward. To assist any patients which may need help with their nutrition and hydration and to promote the importance of nutrition and hydration. Duties will include ensuring nutritional supplement stock is up to date and checked, to complete MUST and nutritional and hydration assessments on patients.

Qualifications
* Level 1 in Maths/English or equivalent demonstrable experience
Experience
* Previous experience of working as part of a team
* Previous experience of working with the public
* Demonstrable insight into behaviours and skills of a carer
* Previous experience in a caring role or hospital environment
Knowledge & Skills
* Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
