McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a professional Care Supervisor to join the team at our prestigious Bowles Court development in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Hourly rate:£15.24 per hour for day shifts and £12.24 SLEEPING night shifts per hour, plus an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
Hours: 33.5 per week (includes a mix of day shifts and sleeping night shifts). Day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30. Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am. Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00 and 07:00pm providing emergency support only to households during that period.
About the Role
This role supports the management and smooth running of the community of active and independent older people in a Retirement Living Plus development with 57 apartments.
About You
* Warm, friendly, organised, and self‑motivated with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
* Preferably with a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although alternative qualifications and relevant experience will be considered.
* Ready to manage the security of the development, look after the safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and oversee the Care and Support teams.
* Able to coordinate and facilitate activities that strengthen the community spirit within the development.
* Driven to grow skills, lead by example, and think on feet.
* Desire to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
